POWERfitWITHT Studio Opening I am beyond proud to announce the official opening of the brand new POWERfitWITHT studio I started POWERfitwithT in 2019 with the goal of creating an inclusive space that empowers all individuals. Since then, I have taught over 400 students across Pole Fitness, Pole dance, Aerial hoop, Aerial yoga and flexibility training. My Bashment classes are the first and only Bashment-dedicated classes in the world. I infused my love for Bashment music and my Caribbean heritage with my new found love of pole fitness and aerial arts, which lead me to creating my BASHMENTpole and BASHMENTaerial programs. My classes are fitness based and focus on strength-building, developing flexibility whilst centring my love for Caribbean music and culture. My pole fitness, pole dance, aerial hoop, aerial yoga, aerial hammocks, flexibility class plus so much more will empower you whilst building strength and confidence in a supportive and encouraging safe space. Each class is designed to help you reach your physical and mental goals, whether it’s to build core strength or to make a lifestyle change. Expect to be surrounded by a supportive community of like-minded individuals motivated to push their personal boundaries and celebrate their successes.

  • What to expect: 

    ·         Classes are mixed ability unless stated otherwise. Teaching will be tailored to students’ experience. *Min age 18yrs

    ·         Classes may be challenging for students new to pole / aerial fitness. Don’t worry if you can’t perform all of the moves initially. You will grow in confidence and strength and feel empowered by the journey. 

    ·         You may be sore following class, and you may experience bruising as your body gets used to this new form of exercise.

    ·         Classes include warm up, conditioning exercises and stretch cool down.

    ·         1-2-1 students receive personalized progress feedback after each lesson.

    ·         Please arrive 5/10 mins before class start time - students cannot be admitted to class late to ensure they don’t miss warm-up. 

    ·         Please disclose any injuries or medical conditions and we will discuss if you can safely participate in the class.

    ·         All students must complete a health declaration form prior to attending class.

  • About your instructor:

    ·         My name is Tiarna-Ann Pearce and I am 27 year old. I am a certified advanced level pole and aerial hoop instructor. I am first aid qualified and have an enhanced DBS check. I am fully insured to teach pole and aerial hoop and yoga. 

    ·         My background is in international powerlifting. I hold the over 10 medals. I have been weight training for over 10 years and first started perfecting my skills in pole and aerial fitness for over 3 years ago.

    ·         I started POWERfitwithT in 2019 with the goal of creating a inclusive space that’s empowered all individuals . Since then I have taught over 400 students across Pole Fitness, Pole dance, Aerial hoop, Aerial yoga and flexibility training.

    ·         My classes will empower you whilst building strength and confidence in a supportive and encouraging safe space.

    ·         This is my passion and I’m excited to teach you. We are going to work hard together, sweat, learn new skills and have an amazing time. 

     

  • What to wear:

    ·         Wear suitable gym clothing. For pole wear shorts (skin contact with the pole is necessary for grip). For hoop/yoga wear leggings (skin contact with the apparatus can be painful). Socks are optional. 

    ·         You can purchase Powerfit clothing and accessories here.

    ·         Do not apply any oils or moisturisers to the skin before class as this can affect performance. 

    ·         Do not wear jewellery as this can affect grip and risk injury.

    ·         Remember to bring water, a sweat towel and your own stretch mat if desired (mats are provided).

    ·         No food allowed in the studio (fruit is provided).
